#27 Prioritize your family.
This is dedicated to those women who seem to have forgotten their priorities. No, you do not need to go out clubbing every other night. You decided to take on the responsibility of a family, then it’s time you start acting like a healthy family member. Take the time to work with your child on their homework. If they don’t have homework help them do fun and learning activities around the house or outside. Take them to museums, put care and love into the relationship with your partner.
Give yourself the self care that you need and get help if you need it. It’s not just about you, you have a family to be actively involved with. You can’t neglect your mental health and then act out like some teenager. It’s not your child’s responsibility to raise you, nor your husbands. Raising a child takes more than just feeding and clothing them. It requires love, being present with them and play as well as help learning. It’s not your partners job to have to babysit you, you’re supposed to be an equal partner. Time to set your priorities straight.
